Hi Johan,

Sorry I got the site details in discussion thread.... WOuld appreicate if you can send some data on how much gas generated...how much raw material... how much VS , how much efficiency in terms of VS reduction or COD reduction ( wastewater) etc.

thanks

Jayant

Dear Johan,
thanks for your comments. DO you have any website where I can find some more literature on your technology...

Johan your images are not attributed. I regret that I have received a complaint and that I will be forced to ban your membership unless you come to an agreement about use of these images here with the company which has complained.

Sorry. I will give you until 7th November and then I must take action.

Our anaerobic methanisation installations produce biogas based on:
1/3rd on livestock manure: so they solve an environmental problem (too much N and P) too.
1/3rd on agricultural plant waste, waste from fruit businesses and the waste peelings from food processing plants: so they solve a waste disposal problem too.
1/3rd on agricultural energy crops grown mainly on the until today 10% non-used arable land in the Benelux and Germany. (which is still arable land to avoid too much food production in the EU ! so these cultivations are not in competition with food produced on the other EU arable land.)

Farms with a lot of animals (porcs, cattle, chicken, sheep,…..) are ideal places to produce energy from biogas.

We can get (biomass) energy:
• Directly from plants and plant waste, for example burning wood for cooking and heating.
and/or for example digestion or biomethanisation at 37°C into biogas.
(Indirectly from plants and plant waste, for example turning it into a liquid (alcohol such as ethanol) or gas (biogas) fuel. )
• Indirectly from animal waste, for example biogas (mainly methane gas) from sewage and manure.
• Converting biomass energy into useable energy has many environmental benefits. It uses waste organic materials that are usually dumped, and uses up methane (a greenhouse gas).

Johan

Great photographs! Thank you so much for helping our group to get started with these images.

Did you take these photos yourself? Are these photographs provided for use by our members as long as we attribute them to you in our material on the promotion of awarenes of Biogas? In other words are these photos provided as "Copyright free"?

We would like to know more about your projects if you have time to add more information here. please do. Are these projects in Belgium and Germany or just Belgium?

See our web site: www.jcarels.be
for the type of construction of our anaerobic digestion plants?
